I bought and read this book a decade ago and I have not looked back since!
"Natural Organic Hair and Skin Care" literally changed the way I take care of my skin and hair, was my introduction to the sublime world of, "Aubrey Organics" and informed me to the fullest extent of what is natural and safe to use in cosmetics and what is not.
This book is vast--it reads like a textbook at times (not that I mind this!), but is more frequently laced with Mr. Hampton's innate wit, compassion and astounding knowledge of not only wholistic cosmetics, but synthetic ones! This book is very accessible and educational!
Years ago did my synthetic makeups, shampoos and skin toners go into the trash! Because I am a vegan of 13 years now, "Aubrey Organics" products appeal to me that much more since most of the products are 100% animal-derivative free and are tested for safety without the use of animals!
I still refer to this book routinely and covet my own copy so! I recommend this book to anyone who is set upon thinking for themselves and following Nature's way.
