Has a nice, rich scent to it that I definitely enjoy, kind of like a perfume for my hair! The one missing star is because, while it does seem to soften my hair up nicely, I haven't noticed a great increase in shine (but then, since I tend to baby my hair, it doesn't have a lot of damage to cover and repair in the first place!).
Also, the smaller bottle happens to be cheaper than the larger bottle: two 2oz bottles together cost $6.50, while one 4oz bottle is $7.68.
