No propylene glycol in this gel, so no itchy scalp for ppg sensitive folks like me!
In general, my curly hair is so healthy now that I'm using Aubrey products. Very very pleased.
It has a stronger hold than the Mandarin Magic Hair Jelly, although I love the shine the Jelly imparts on hair.

This organic gel is awesome! It has great stuff in it for your hair, and I don't feel guilty of putting a bunch of chemicals and waxes onto my hair as I used to do with other gels. I got compliments immediately after I used it in my thick, type 3 a to b (it's a lil of both somehow...) curly hair. My friends told me "Your curls look so pretty!" "Your hair looks nice!" "What's the occasion, you're hair is lookin' really good." My curls looked so good and very conditioned with healthy, natural ingredients. Please don't discontinue or change the product--it's amazing!!!!! LOVE IT.

Love it! I almost returned it at first, because it wasn't strong enough to hold my faux-hawk up all day. (The Super Hold Natural Missst is WAY better for that!) But, as my hair has grown out, I find that this stuff is excellent with either the Mandarin Magic or the Sea Buckthorn spray for holding and defining waves and curls, especially in my fine, thin hair. For shorter styles, only a dime-size portion seems to work best. More product just makes it crunchier, but doesn't necessarily hold any better. At first, the softness was a let-down; now, I find it to be one of its greatest assets! I just let my hair air dry and run my fingers through it once its fully dry. The waves remain, but it feels totally natural and shiny. I also love the non-perfumy natural herbal smell.

This smells like paradise. The product is very good. It makes my curls really hold through the day with added moisture and bounce never before found from other products. I use it to hold my hair in curls like one would use hairspray. I dilute one part gel to 5 parts water in a spray bottle and spray away! keeps my thick hair very healthy with the vitamins and moisturizers, too.

I'm African American and I have big puffy but soft textured hair. I used the B-5 Gel and it kept my frizzy baby hair down all day long, but at the end of the day, it dried and left a hard, white film (with specks) that I have to wet to get out. I'm disappointed, since it got so many great reviews. Its a very healthy gel (which is a rarity) but like all gels, you have to wash it out in order to get your hair clean. I've used products before that were very hair-healthy, but because it made my hair dirty I discontinued using them. I'm going to try the Mandarin Jelly to see if it can defrizz without the dirt.
